Actual Results
We wanted to make a $5 profit on each race so we had to outlay the following on each horse in each race:

Race 1    Horse 1 $0.92
Horse 4 $1.31
Horse 3 $2.19

Horse 3 won returning to me $9.43 so after taking away my stake of $4.42, I was left with a $5 profit ($5 in front on the day)

Race 2    Horse 9 $7.15
Horse 8 $1.36
Horse 6 $2.94

Horse 9 won returning to me $16.46 so after taking away my stake of $11.45, I was left with a $5 profit ($10 in front on the day)

Race 3    Horse 7 $18.83
Horse 6 $3.48
Horse 11 $4.71

Horse 5 won so I lost $27.02 (If you take off the existing $10 profit, I am now $17.02 down on the day). I need to increase my expected profit on the next race to $37 to cover my losses and maintain my $5 profit per race.

Race 4    Horse 2 $17.89
Horse 11 $10.84
Horse 4 $5.82

Horse 7 won so, I lost an additional $34.55 taking my total losses so far to $51.57. I need to increase my expected profit on the next race to $77 to cover the loss and maintain my $5 profit per race.

Race 5    Horse 3 $21.65
Horse 2 $151.57
Horse 6 $7.45

Horse 2 won returning to me $257.67 so after taking away my stake of $180.67, I was left with a $77 profit ($77 take away the existing loss of $51.57 leaves me with a profit so far of $25 so we are back on track)

Race 6    Horse 8 $0.43
Horse 10 $0.21
Horse 6 $1.85

Horse 1 won so, I Iost $2.49. (This brings my running profit back to $22.50) I need to increase my expected profit on the next race to $12.5 to cover the loss and make $5 profit.

Race 7    Horse 4 $49.44
Horse 1 $3.58
Horse 2 $26.84

Horse 2 won returning to me $93.93 so after taking away my stake of $80.93, I was left with a $12.50 profit (Adding the $12.50 profit to my running profit of $22.50 gives me a new running profit of $35.00)

Race 8    Horse 3 $15.68
Horse 2 $3.04
Horse 1 $6.08

Horse 1 won returning to me $29.79 so after taking away my stake of $24.79, I was left with a $5 profit (This put me $40 in front on the day, exactly $5 profit per race)
Smart Bet tells you what to bet based on the odds available for the horse. All of the amounts bet on all of the horses shown were generated by Smart Bet.
You can see from this example why it is important to keep your profit expectations low, it enables you to bet through the losses without breaking the bank.
You really do not want to have more than 3 losses in a row which is why you want to use a selection system that consistantly picks winners in the first 3.
We use the Thinking Digital Tipping System and it works for us.
The bottom line is: Smart Bet works because it gives you the tool to bet through your losses, everyone loses horse races, but with Smart Bet and some common sense and non-greedy punting, you should always come out on top. The most common failure is greed, if people try to make too much profit per race, they will find it difficult to bet through the losses if you have a run of more than 3 in a row.

Using the example above, if you wagered on 20 race meetings per week with a profit expectation of only $5 per race and achieved a similar outcome, you would make $800 tax free dollars a week.
